Will be interesting to see if they declare Dave as Stable has Stagecraft in it. It was pulled last week because of the ground which was Good so unless there’s rain I can’t see them going. But will see.

5.35 Aintree LE LABO
This is a bit speculative to be putting up a once raced Bumper horse as my nap but I am drawn to Joseph sending this over (1st Bumper runner over here for 5 years). Took a while for the penny to drop on his debut at Thurles but picked up well late on and should come on a load for that. Gets good ground again and has a very able pilot in John Gleeson up again.
Very competitive for sure but I am hopeful of a big run.
2pts WIN 7/1 Bet 365 and being supported.

2.15 Ayr ETHICAL DIAMOND
Lightly raced this season after doing well on the level last year. (Royal Ascot form). Broke his duck over timber with a comfortable maiden hurdle success at Punchestown in February and then stepped up on that with an eye catching running on 4th after being well back in the field in the County Hurdle.
Only raised 1lb for that and this tighter track should be more suitable. Seems to prefer this good ground and could well be another for Willie and Son.
3pts WIN 7/2 Various

12.50 Newbury KINGS GAMBIT
Was an impressive winner of the London Gold Cup on this card last year and although didn’t get his head in front on subsequent runs held his own very well in group class. The best of which being a close 3rd in the group 2 Great Voltiger at York behind Aidans very smart pair Illinois and Los Angeles. Clearly unsuited by the soft ground in the Champion Stakes he was then put away. Ran okay in a G3 in Quatar in February he was then gelded. This might eek a bit of improvement to get his head in front in this sphere this campaign and with blinkers added today I expect a big run with ground to suit. Might be well suited to 12f this season too.
3pts WIN  Various

16.08 Haydock - Sea To Sky
Didn’t appear to act on the Goodwood undulations on her reappearance and will be much better suited to this course today. Comfortably won a decent novice at HQ in the Autumn but then found the ground against her a little at Newbury when stepped up to listed class although not disgraced. May have got in here on a decent mark on Hcap debut and I would expect a much improved performance with stable  going well now.
2pts WIN 11/2 Various
