Good idea in principle Steve but it might be better asking members to put their name forward as I noticed a few names on the vote we haven’t seen for ages, Hunter Chaser for one.
We need persons that are prepared to put themselves out for a few days if you go with your idea.
The other thing, to get the Lucky struck at around 8am the following day, the selections would really need to be put up by a certain time preferably the evening before, thus taking advantage of BOG when it kicks in. Not much help if the nominee posts their selection at an unspecified time the following day and you are waiting to put your bet on.
However, to increase the interest and reduce pressure on any poster, may I suggest you simply start a new thread just for Cheltenham, only asking members for one tip a day, similar to the thread I started recently “one banker a day” , which appears to be going ok.
In this way you are not excluding anyone who wishes to post or asking a member for a tip when they might not fancy anything that day. This way members can decide whose tips to perm as some are looking for shorter price perms at high stakes (like me) and some are looking for the holy grail the 66/1 winner, which I personally would be very unlikely to put in any lucky unless it was for buttons.

Edit - or maybe similar to what you use to do on UAE races where you from memory would put up two selections per race, but instead a NAP and a NB if someone wants to put two up.
